Sushi of Gari UES is now hiring server, host or hostess and cashier/packer with great work ethic.
Looking for candidates that are punctual, well organized, who have a sense of urgency and good time management skills.
We're looking for responsible individuals who are quick learners. You must be detail-oriented with some knowledge on Japanese food, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. All candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends, at least 4-5 shifts.
Must be legally authorized to work in US
Schedule
- Servers: Wed. to Sun. 3pm to around 10:30pm
- Host or Hostess: Wed to Sun 2pm to 9:45pm
Requirements
Servers
- Server: MUST Japanese fine-dining upscale restaurants experience minimum 3 years
- Server: MUST excellent knowledge of Japanese food, Omakase, Sake, and Wine
- Engage with guests and colleagues in a professional, dignified manner in the midst of high volume, busy environment
- Team players, good attitude and communication skills with co-workers, and comfortable under pressure
- Hourly wage started: Server $10.65 + tip and 1 free family meal/day
Host or Hostess
- No experience is fine. But experience is BIG PLUS
- Hourly wage started: $18 - $25
