Co-founded by the team behind concepts including The Office of Mr. Moto, TabeTomo, The Residence of Mr. Moto, and Tomokase, Rewind is seeking a seasoned and creative Bar Manager to lead all aspects of the beverage experience at Rewind. Role: Kitchen Manager
Responsibilities:
Work with the Chef partner to ensure established recipes are followed thoroughly
Ensure freshness of ingredients and control food costs
Establish guidelines, uphold safety and cleanliness standards
Improve overall kitchen efficiency
Order supplies and equipment, working closely with vendors
Store food products safely accordingly to DOH standards
Document operational procedures
Hire, train and mentor junior team members
Manage a fast-paced kitchen environment
Ensure BOH facilities are DOH compliant at all times
Requirements:
5+ years of experience cooking in upscale kitchens operations
NYC DOH Food Handlers Certificate
Proven experience in planning menus and ordering ingredients
Strong knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle high-pressure situations
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Event management skills

Prior experience in fine dining a plus

Job Details:
Full-time position
$65K – $75k /annually for an average of 50 hour/week.
Vacation Days:
o 5 paid vacation days in the 1st year
o 10 vacation days in the 2nd year
