Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and competitive Sous Chef for our Forest Hills location. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside our Executive Chef and other culinary leaders in a collaborative kitchen environment where everyone can express their culinary passion.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute the culinary vision of Mojo and adhere to product specifications.
Ensure Back of House targets are consistently met.
Oversee kitchen preparedness for DOH inspections.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Director, and General Manager to manage food and labor costs effectively.
About You:
Minimum of three years’ experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and anticipate needs.
Basic computer and written communication skills.
Proven leadership abilities in a BOH team setting.
Understanding of the financial implications of operational decisions.
Flexibility and a positive attitude in all situations.
Thorough knowledge of food handling practices; Food Protection Certificate required.
Commitment to maintaining DOH standards to achieve top ratings at inspections.
