Now Hiring: Morning Porter/Dishwasher at a Busy NYC Outdoor Restaurant
Are you an early bird who enjoys a fast-paced environment? We're a popular outdoor restaurant in NYC, and we're looking for a Porter/Dishwasher to join our team for the morning shift.
In this role, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring everything runs smoothly before, during, and after service. Your main responsibilities will include:
Setting up the kitchen and dining room everyday.
Watering plants
Cleaning the fryer and hood as well as general kitchen cleaning.
Collecting dishes and trays from the dining room.
Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
Keeping the kitchen and dish area clean and organized
Putting orders away in a timely manner
Handling trash and recycling
Maintaining overall cleanliness of the restaurant and outdoor seating area
