Position: Pizza Cook
Shift Information: Monday-Friday, 8AM-2PM
This is a seasonal position following a school calendar (September-June, no weekends or holidays)
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic team member to join one of our school cafeterias as a Pizza Station Worker and Cashier.
This individual will help create a positive dining experience for students and staff and will be part of a supportive team that values quality, efficiency, and a friendly atmosphere. Ideal candidates should enjoy working in a school environment and take pride in providing excellent service.
This position will primarily focus on the pizza station and cashiering responsibilities.
Applicants must be comfortable working with commercial kitchen equipment, including pizza ovens. Experience in pizza preparation or similar food service environments is a PLUS!
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing and baking pizzas using commercial ovens and equipment.
Assisting with food prep and ensuring items are presented well and kept at proper temperatures.
Running the cash register and handling transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Unpacking and organizing deliveries as needed.
Supporting service line operations, helping with basic cooking tasks, and cleaning up throughout the shift.
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment at all times.
Qualifications:
Prior food service experience is highly preferred.
Comfortable using kitchen equipment and handling hot food items.
Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills required.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Able to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Capable of standing for extended periods.
Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
