Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant
- Understanding of NYC hospitality and service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional service
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Responsibilities include;
Assisting with opening & closing duties
Ensure that Bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.
Ensure the bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, beer, with garnishes, and napkins.
Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces and bar equipment, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, and emptying trash receptacles.
Deliver food orders from kitchen to guests’ tables rapidly and accurately.
Prepare To-Go orders.
Maintain working knowledge of all drink menu items, including how various drink items are prepared.
Prepare tables for meals, including setting up linens and silverware.
Serve food to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, or soft drinks.
Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to the kitchen or bar for cleaning.
Clean tables or counters after guests have finished dining.
Perform cleaning duties, such as tidying up food server stations, pantry., dining room as needed.
Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens in preparation for the next shift or large parties.
