Fraunces Tavern Restaurant, a historic and renowned establishment located in the heart of Lower Manhattan, is seeking an experienced, dedicated and personable Host/Hostess to join our team! Working at our front desk, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their dining experience begins with a positive impression. You will be the first point of contact for our patrons and will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant by providing exceptional customer service!
Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they enter the restaurant with a friendly and inviting demeanor.
Maintain an organized and efficient seating rotation.
Manage reservations and accurately record guest information.
Assist in coordinating with the kitchen and waitstaff.
Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and answering any initial questions.
Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism.
Monitor and manage the flow of guests, anticipating peaks & making adjustments as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the hostess station and waiting area.
