Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation in line with our Italian culinary traditions.
Develop and update menus, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Manage kitchen staff, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with the management team to control food costs, optimize kitchen processes, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure the timely and efficient execution of all food preparation tasks.
Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques to enhance the restaurant's offerings.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of progressive culinary experience, with a main focus on Italian cuisine.
Proven track record of successful kitchen management and leadership.
In-depth knowledge of Italian culinary traditions, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
Creativity and a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Experience with menu development and the ability to create dishes that showcase innovation while respecting traditional flavors.
ServSafe or other relevant food safety certification.
Hours:
11:00am – 4pm Lunch
4pm – 11pm Dinner
