Upper West Side Restaurant is actively seeking an experienced Line Cook (Grill or Sautee) for an exciting opportunity to work at our “upscale-casual” location. The right candidate will assist with the Chef’s daily tasks, which includes prep and execution of regular service, as well as private events. The successful candidate will possess timely service and presentation of high-quality food, communicate effectively with the team, and have a respectful, positive attitude that motivates other team members to provide a superior level of service.
Line Cook Grill or Sautee
Qualifications:
The line cook must possess 2+ years’ experience in an upscale casual kitchen as a line cook,
Must be well organized and be able to understand the tasks at hand and the time table to get them done
Proven experience in accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks while keeping a safe work environment.
Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment and being able to put out quality food while keeping your composer.
Flexible schedule (must be able to work nights and weekends)
Experience:
Line Cook: 2+ years (Preferred)
Spanish / Portuguese / Mediterranean Cuisine (Preferred)
