You're a serious cook with good organizational skills and sharp knives. You thrive on making delicious food for appreciative diners. You like to be part of a small team. You have at least 1.5 years of experience in a serious kitchen.
What’s the pay:
$25 per hour.

Our name-Houseman-refers to a Scandanavian word that translates to seasonal local food. Houseman’s menu investigates what that is in New York City today. Our careful but not fussy food blends the familiar with the unexpected. We love big, well-articulated flavors, contrasting textures, spice, and acidity. We're nine years old. Our customers are a mix of regulars and destination diners. We value diversity and practice inclusion, good communication and mutual respect throughout the restaurant.
