Popular NYC Restaurant Group, with venues throughout Manhattan & Williamsburg, Brooklyn, are looking for a charismatic Floor Manager to join the team. Applicants should have 3+ years of NYC restaurant managing experience in a high volume environment. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, friendly, with attention to detail who can uphold our company standards & achieve company goals. Hourly pay will range from $28-$35 based on experience. Flexible hours would be required.
General Requirements & Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Must have Food Handler's Certificate/Card
Excellent communication skills
Manage guest experience: ensuring service meets our brand standards & expectations
Touching tables
Proficient knowledge of Toast, Open Table, & Resy would be helpful
Tracking progress & training of new hires
Controlling costs as it relates to product and labor: to ensure budgets are met.
Ensuring all restaurant compliance's are up to code/and up to date
Ability to provide in-the-moment feedback to team members, actively facilitating their growth
Ability to exert well-paced mobility/ stand for up to 8-hours; as well as being able to lift up to 25 lbs
