Contemporary casual neighborhood restaurant is hiring an Executive Chef. Duties would include maintaining inventory, ordering, expediting, cooking, and changing the seasonal menu. This is a five day a week job that includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
We specialize in an array of menu items like grilled fish, chops, pastas, raw bar, and brunch options like eggs, pancakes, french toast, and sandwiches.
We are looking for an Executive Chef with a strong background and proven leadership/organizational skills to take the reins of our well-established, busy, profitable restaurant. We are a high-volume restaurant (200+ cover services) offering dinner and Sunday brunch, as well as private catered events each year. The ideal candidate will be a highly professional team player, act as a mentor to their staff, be collaborative with their colleagues, lead through example, and demand attention to detail with a gentle touch.
