KCBC DELIVERY DRIVER

Do you love Hazy IPA’s, Fruited Sours, Crispy Lagers and all sorts of other delicious beers?! Kings County Brewers Collective (KCBC) is looking to hire an organized, friendly and generally-awesome person to join our team as a Delivery Driver. SALARY/BENEFITS:

This is a Full-Time/Part-Time hourly position, 32-40 hours per week, with a base pay of $20.00 per hr. The job may occasionally require late-night, and holiday work. Overtime pay (1.5x base rate, per hour) will apply for any additional hours worked beyond 40 hrs. per week. Working hours are generally 9am-6pm, Monday through Friday.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivery of KCBC beer in Brooklyn, Manhattan & Queens

Prepare, scan & load kegs and cases into delivery vehicles.

Prepare invoices and any additional materials needed for delivery days .

Plan efficient delivery routes.

Communicate with KCBC Distribution Supervisor, Sales Rep, Owners, and customers as needed.

Safely lift and transport kegs to and from the KCBC vehicles to accounts.

Adhere to NYC traffic and parking laws.

Properly receive and record all invoices and COD payments from customers.

Assist with payment collection, draft troubleshooting, and other issues related to wholesale distribution, as needed.

Provide outstanding customer service!

Warehousing + Distribution

Preparing orders for shipment + delivery

Shipping and receiving of goods (loading and unloading of trucks, warehousing, and associated paperwork) with forklift

Coordinating deliveries and order pickups with Distribution Manager / Sales Team

General brewery & warehouse cleaning, organization and maintenance, including:

Walk-in cooler

Shelving & storage areas

KCBC vehicles

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not required.

Must have a valid New York Driver's License (or receive within 30 days of employment if you have an out of state Drivers License).

This is a highly physical position. Must be able to bend over, twist, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, lift/move 160 pound kegs regularly and safely deliver kegs & cases of beer.

Must be able to strictly follow operations requirements and standard operating procedures.

Must be able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment, properly handle hazardous materials, drive a delivery van, and operate complex machinery including forklift.

Must possess high quality standards and be able to work effectively and efficiently without direct supervision

Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Must be meticulously organized and punctual, with outstanding time management skills.

Must have basic computer skills and aptitude, specifically working with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps. Experience with Ekos Brewery Management software is a plus.

Must be 21 years of age or older and have proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Must be awesomely passionate about craft beer!
