SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas, ensuring high-quality food, excellent presentation, and adherence to food safety standards. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow recipes, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and customer preferences.
Cook pizzas in ovens, monitoring cooking times and temperatures for consistency.
Ensure all pizzas meet quality and presentation standards before serving.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe dining experience.
Monitor ingredient levels and communicate supply needs to management.
Assist in other kitchen tasks as needed, such as prep work or cleaning duties.
QUALIFICATIONS (Select all that Apply):
Previous experience as a Pizza Cook, Line Cook, or similar role preferred.
Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including hand-tossing and stretching dough.
Familiarity with commercial ovens and kitchen equipment.
Attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
