Looking for part-time barista
The main function of this position is sellingbaked goods, hot and iced coffee, and making delicious espresso drinks.The person in this position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, and should be outgoing, friendly, and helpful. The ideal candidate should be proactive, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining overall cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and carry out tasks
- Ability to work on a team and individually
- Maintains quality control of product including presentation, storage, and maintaining the freshness of baked goods and drinks (FIFO)
- Assists in completion of the daily and weekly checklist
- Attention to detail, ambitious and self-starting
Requirements:
- New York Food Handlers’ Certificate
- Ability to work flexible hours (must workweekend days)
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Minimum 1-year work experience with manual espresso machines
