About the Position: In the Sales & Event Manager role, you will be responsible for sales and planning events.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for knowledge of banquet rooms, menus, and services
Conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts, prepare event costing summaries, prepare and collect invoices.
Work as a team with the kitchen and banquet departments to thoroughly plan highly customized and memorable events
Create the banquet event order (BEO), floor plan and estimate for each event.
Attend events as needed to meet and greet client and ensure all details are setup to expectations
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of event/catering/banquet coordination experience.
Experience with weddings and customized events.
Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
