Well known full-service NYC Restaurant Group is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our upscale casual New York City restaurant.
This position will work as part of the restaurant management team responsible for managing front of house operations and will report to the General Manager. We look for managers who are passionate about hospitality, work well as part of a team, enjoy the floor, guest interaction, and thrive in a high volume-busy environment.

Required Skills:
- Front of house management, shift leadership, service direction
- Ability and desire to work on the dining room floor guiding and supporting staff
- Prior experience leading and developing a team
- Knowledge of service, hospitality, food, wine, cocktails
- Capable in Microsoft Office, POS, Reservations, and other industry related programs
- Cash handling, open and closing procedures
- Running staff meetings/pre-shifts meetings
- Health and sanitation requirements for both the restaurant and the bar
- Outstanding communication and administrative skills
- Dedication, reliability, commitment, passion, enthusiasm, knowledge, work ethic
Four nights per week from 4 pm to 10 pm Monday to Thursday.
