In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the financial strategy of our business. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, forecasting future performance, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health and growth of a startup at a pivotal stage.Key job responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance. Provide detailed analysis and insights into financial metrics and KPIs.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts. Track performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and providing recommendations.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial data.

Strategic Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, including market expansion, product development, and M&A activities.

Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities and capital projects. Provide financial insights to support investment decisions.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Tech, and Product Management, to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

MBA, or CPA

Knowledge of Tableau

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Six Sigma Black Belt

2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

2+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence

The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
