Sr. Accountant

Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team based in New York, New York. This role is integral to our finance operations, requiring a detail oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work with NetSuite. We offer a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct year-end close procedures and ensure accuracy and compliance Recognize and record revenue in accordance with company policies and accounting standards Prepare and post journal entries as part of month-end close processes Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting Manage and maintain customer credit records with precision Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses Monitor and take appropriate action on customer accounts Work extensively with NetSuite for daily accounting tasks Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. Must be capable of accurately recording Journal Entries. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary. Experience in Month End Close procedures is essential. Familiarity with NetSuite software is required. Must have experience with Year-end Close procedures.
