The team is highly visible within the organization and provides opportunities for professional growth.About the OpportunityAs the Director of Investments & Treasury Operations, you will play a critical role in the strategic management of our resources to protect the financial health and the delivery of our important mission. You will optimize cash flow, ensure liquidity, and manage the organization's short-term operating cash fund. You will also support the operational management of our long-term investments. In this role, you will act as a key advisor to our CFO and Senior Leadership team.In this role you will:Cash, Working Capital, and Short-Term Investment Management (70%)Prepare detailed cash flow forecastMonitor daily cash positions and daily flow of payments to ensure adequate liquidity for our operationsOversee and manage the organization's short-term investment portfolio, which includes recommending and executing investment decisions in accordance with our investment objectivesPrepare regular performance reports for the short-term operating cash fundManage relationships with all financial institutions to secure the most favorable terms and servicesSupport the structuring and the negotiation of our credit facilitiesMonitor credit facility covenant compliance and prepare quarterly reports for banksCollaborate with Procurement and Accounting teams to drive new initiatives that enhance the management of our working capitalProvide excellent financial analysis and act as a key advisor to our CFO and senior leadership team on financial and investment mattersLong-term Investment Portfolio Management (30%)Support the operational management of our long-term investment portfolio, including account management, investment funding process, and Know-Your-Client requirementsManage the relationship of our custodian and other investment service providersMonitor investment management and custody feesLead the review and reconciliation of monthly investment performance reportsResponsible for the accurate execution of all payments related to our investments, including capital calls, custody fees, and management feesSupport the process for the delivery of audited financial statementsPrepare materials for the Investment Committee and Board of Trustee meetingsAct as a key liaison for the Investment Committee and our investment service providersAbout you, you have:A bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or related technical fieldIdeally 6-10 years of relevant and progressive experienceStrong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skillsAdept problem-solving skills, including using data to inform decisions and actionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitating meetings and presenting remotely and in-personStrong understanding of corporate finance and investmentsExceptional attention to detailHighly motivated with a strong interest in process improvementProven leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while buildingrelationships and influencing others to actionStrong organization and prioritization skills and the proven ability to move forward multiple projects in concert, both independently and as a member of the teamOutstanding knowledge of emerging trends and best practices in Treasury and cash management fieldsAdvanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skillsA strong interest in expanding educational opportunity for all studentsThe ability to travel to in-person events 4-6 times a yearYou are authorized to work in the United States.About Our ProcessApplication review will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filledWhile the hiring process may vary, it generally includes: resume and application submission, recruiter phone/video screen, hiring manager interview, performance exercise, a panel interview, a conversation with leadership and reference checks.About Our Benefits and CompensationCollege Board offers a competitive benefits and compensation program that attracts top talent looking to make a difference in education.
