Here at QuickSTAT, our Jamaica/Queens/New York site is looking for a new Healthcare Operational Care Specialist to join our Air Logistics team.Your RoleAs the Operational Care Specialist is responsible for managing the coordination of customer shipments by securing buy rates (when required) as well as capacity with qualified carriers/partners. Specifically, the Operational Care Specialist will be part of a team responsible for coordinating transport activities by: executing the necessary bookings with our partners, executing the requisite data entry associated with transport document generation, generating the required documentation, and liaising with our customer care specialists to ensure specific requirements are met (Transit Times, Carrier selection, Routings etc).Your Responsibilities

You maintain organized and separate areas for each part of the operation functions.

Manage and control all export functions within our Control Towers.

Maintain effective communication and coordination with other departments, vendors and carriers.

Monitor and update shipment orders through QuickSTAT IT enterprise systems.

Communicate effectively with our vendors (service partners and airlines / carriers).

Assist all Quick offices with processing exports.

Report to Air Logistics Healthcare Manager

Your Skills and Experiences

Shift2pm-10pm (Please note that this is a 24/7/365 facility and flexibility to work afterhours, weekends and holidays is required)

Associate's degree or equivalent

1+year of experience working in Airport or Air Logistics

Expert in Microsoft Office

Must be able to lift heavy items
