Primarily will work to aggregate data across multiple sources to inform decision making during key linear time periods (Upfront, Options, Scatter, etc.). This person will assist in creating proprietary measurement tools that will help empower data-driven national video investment decisions. The Planner will report to a director and associate director, becoming the second planner on the team.Key Responsibilities:
Tool Workstream Management : Oversee data pulls, organization, and timely delivery of refreshed tools across video channels including linear and OTT/Streaming.
Coordination : Collaborate with internal teams (investment, strategy, analytics, and operations) and external partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution of projects.
Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough reviews of data pulls, tool refreshes, insight slides to ensure they meet specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements before deployment.
Project Management : Maintain detailed timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and campaigns launch without issues.
Platform Expertise : Utilize 3rd party data platforms and tools (e.g., iSpot, Nielsen, Innovid, Prisma) to pull reporting and compile insight generating tools.
Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve any issues related to pulling data, working closely with tech support, analytics, and vendors as needed.
Reporting : Generate and analyze reports to provide insights on campaign performance and suggest optimizations.
Critical Thinking : Have the ability to observe, analyze, inference, and communicate – the ability to problem solve and create solutions with the information you are given
QualificationsQualifications:
B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Data Science, or related field
1+ years of media buying/planning/data & analytics experience; agency experience highly preferred
Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and detail-oriented skills
Strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills
Hard-working, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Prisma or other media buying tools preferred (e.g., MediaOcean, DoubleClick)
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (formulas, v-lookup, conditional formats, pivot tables)
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGBT, Co-Pilot etc.) and technology marketplace trends
Heavy focus on video content (offline and digital); candidates with a video background preferred
Background in project management or ad operations
Client-facing role requiring strong communication and partner interaction skills
Additional InformationCompensation Range: $46,500 - $62,400 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
