job detailsDo you enjoy working in fast paced environment where you will be processing over 700+ union and non-union employees for payroll? If so, in this role you will process weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles and work close with the HR and Finance departments to correct any discrepancies or adjustments. Also, you will work both Kronos for time and attendance and Workday (Payroll System). You will be responsible in answering employee queries regarding payroll. The ideal candidate must have over 3+ years of multi-state payroll experience. This role is a maternity coverage for about 5 months and will be hybrid model 3 days from home and 2 days in office.salary: $27 - $27.78 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesRandstad is seeking for a Payroll Specialist who is highly organized responsible for the preparation, processing and distribution of accurate and timely paychecks for Employees for a large entertatinment studio in New York. You will be responsible for weekly and bi-weekly pay cycles with include union and non-union employees.
3+ years of direct payroll processing experience required
Experience with handling bulk payroll about for 700-800 employees for both union and non-union
Ability to work in fast paced enviornment
Ability to work under pressure and be a team player
Experience with handling payroll for multi-state
Excellent both written and oral communication skillls
Experience with Workday
Experience with Kronos timekeeping system
Proficiency with MS suite and excel skills
Media background is a plus
Attention to detail and has experience with payroll regulations and tax laws
