Java Software Engineer Location: NYC or Jersey City (Hybrid model) Hybrid model schedule - Monday and Friday remote/ Tues,Weds, Thurs onsiteMust have:- 7+ years, Java, microservices, spring boot, with data base with cloud (huge plus) but will consider intermediate candidate in NY - SQL or UI is a nice have but looking for strong backend engineer.Roles and Responsibilities1. BS/BA degree or equivalent experience 2. Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines 3. Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems 4. Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages 5. Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices 6. Keen understanding of financial control and budget management 7. Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals 8. Passionate about building an innovative culture 9. Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages in particular, the Java/J2EE stack 8. Experience with building APIs - RESTful APIs, Web Services, Spring Boot 10. Working knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL. 11. Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud). 12. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Version Control tools (BitBucket, Git) 13. Strong coding fundamentals - Algorithms & Data Structures 14. Angular JS, React and/or JavaScript UI development is a plus 15. Advanced knowledge of architecture & application design processes. 16. Experience with Jira and Confluence 17. Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment 18. Passion for automating & excelling at identifying gaps in processes 19.
