Proof of your vaccination status in the form of a CDC vaccine card must be submitted prior to your start date. Compensation Salary range: Computer Spec. (SW) 1 TWU: $90,656 - $98,254 Computer Spec. (SW) 2 TWU: $94,445 - $105,803 Computer Spec. (SW) 3 TWU: $101,991 - 115,061 Computer Spec. (SW) 4 TWU: $109,441 - $131,744 Responsibilities This position requires proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C, and React native. Experience working with Agile and DevOps using different tools (Jira, Jenkins, Security Scan, Monitoring, Automation of testing and deployment pipelining) are also necessary. Under general supervision with latitude for independent judgement this position is responsible for the following:
- Develop, architect, deploy, monitor and improve applications using AWS services.
- Write infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
- Implement pixel perfect UI's that match designs.
- Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
- Integrate third-party APIs.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems.
- Work with native modules when required.
- Other related responsibilities as required.
- Experience with the core AWS services
- Good background in Windows/Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C, and React native.
- Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
- Previous exposure to large-scale systems design.
- Experience working with Agile, DevOps using different tools (Jira, Jenkins, Security Scan, Monitoring, Automation of testing and deployment pipelining.)
- Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications.
- Past experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda, API gateway.
