Chosen MEP, Corp, is a consulting engineering firm that provides full design services for its client’s needs in building construction industry. The design services we provide are in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, fire alarm, cross and site connections to name a few. We are growing and are looking to add engineers and drafters to our team.
The position is offering an opportunity for individual to start with drafting MEP plans to learn how to do a small design on its own.
Duties:
· An individual will work with MEP engineers to provide a very neat and accurate design drawings.
· Attend job sites and scope properties as required to document existing field conditions on plans.
· Prepare complete and accurate working drawings using autocad.
· Work with other disciplines such as architects and structural engineers to coordinate plans. Attend meetings as required.
· Individual should be able to manage time accordingly. We do not micromanage but expect the job to be completed on certain deadlines.
Job Requirements:
We are looking for individual to have a minimum one to two years of experience in design industry, preferably MEP. Knowledge of some MEP in building industry is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Autocad is required.
