Job: Senior Data Warehouse ArchitectLocation: NYC,NY (onsite 3-days per week)Duration: Long term Position Overview: The Data Warehouse Data Architect / Developer defines and designs both solution and application architecture for the enhancing capabilities of an existing Data Warehouse technologies. Key Responsibilities: As a part of the firm’s IT Application Development and Support department, responsibilities will include:- Analyze and assess existing platform for maintainability, reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
- Define standards for the design and analysis of load processes, data flows and data models.
- Lead the design, build, and deployment of ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes for large data sets.
- Review the existing platform architecture and come up with recommendations to solve the current performance issues which exists in cube processing, Data imports, Drill throughs.
- Facilitate code reviews, software design sessions and architectural reviews.
- Participate in technical advisory roles, as required
- Interact with business users, as required.
- Provide ad hoc support in troubleshooting highly complex production issues as they arise.
- Conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning for data load processes.
- Ability to problem solve, recommend and develop technical solutions.
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives, such as master data management and other projects on an as-needed basis
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another four-year degree with significant IS experience OR equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience delivering Data Warehouse solutions
- 10+ years in Microsoft technology – SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, C#, .Net technologies
- 4+ years serving as a Data Warehouse architect with a demonstrated track record of implementing highly scalable and available solutions into a highly transactional production setting
- Data Warehousing & ETL
- Significant data warehouse experience from planning, to design, to implementation.
- Experience of designing strategies for ETL audit, load balance, exception handling and high data volumes.
- Technically excellent in all areas of SQL Server development including stored procedures, functions and triggers.
- Proven expertise in Data warehouse methodologies as well as extensive knowledge of OLTP/OLAP technologies.
- Ability to design, organize, and implement module, perform system testing,
- Plan and automate tasks to maintain existing system
- Ability to research and trouble-shoot application problems
- Highly motivated team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
- Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent
- Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement
