Data-Tele Contractors, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Estimator primarily in our Ridgefield Park, NJ headquarters (with some time spent in our midtown NYC office on an
as-needed basis). This candidate will be supporting mid to senior-level Estimators across our IT, Audio Visual and Security disciplines throughout the bidding process. This is a junior role at a rapidly growing design/build firm, with massive opportunities for industry exposure and career progression.
What You’ll Do
● Work with engineering team to create drawings in AUTOCADD and REVIT
● BIM MANAGER
● BUILD MODELS
● Develop IT cabling layouts, WIFI Access Point Placement, Cable pathway schematic designs
● Design AV and security layouts in BIM/REVIT
● Develop IT room layout drawings
● Develop rack elevations
● Develop access control and CCTV drawings
● Work with Audio Visual Department to develop tv size drawings, conduit routing power layout etc.
● Assist with specification of equipment and procurement of cut sheets
● Attend client, design team calls on behalf of Data-Tele to coordinate with other trades
● Ensure coordination with furniture vendor
Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:30PM - 5:00PM

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-5 years of professional experience in engineering, information technology, audiovisual, security, construction or a related field. Must have strong interpersonal skillsa team player mindset with the ability to work independently. Must be proficient in Outlook, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, REVIT. The right candidate will possess excellent skills in time management, organization, and thorough attention to detail.
