Hey there were a busy barbershop on the upper east side looking for an assistant/hostess to join our team and be the first point of contact to our customers.
Assistant/ Hostess Responsibilities Include:
Greeting guests
Providing accurate wait times
Escorting customers to the barber
Answer phone calls
Confirming and scheduling appointments
Managing shop cleanliness and supplies equipment
Preparing hot towels for customers
Potential For Increased Responsibility & Pay Including:
Washing and conditioning hair for customers
Additional services depending on experience and ability
Required Skills & Experience:
Solid organizational and people skills
The ability to make sure our customers have a positive experience the entire time they're in our shop
The ability to schedule clients effectively based on client demands and barber availably
Pay & Schedule
Base pay to be determined plus tips
Must be able to work weekends
