Mid-sized NYC located Real Estate Company seeking full-time Controller.
Controller responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Manage the company's tax compliance and reporting
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
Work closely with other departments to ensure financial goals are met
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
CPA or other relevant professional certification preferred
10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
Strong financial reporting standards
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
