We are a boutique firm specializing in woodworking. We are seeking an experienced candidate in both bookkeeping and administrative operations. We provide a dynamic environment where the ideal candidate will have an opportunity to work on many diverse projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare basic financial statements using Quick Books
Journal entries and General Ledger review
Purchasing and Collections of invoices
HR management activities for all employees
Maintain all client and vendor files as required for documentation
Process payroll
General office administrative process as required by business and/or client
Knowledge of AIA reporting
Notary Public
The ideal candidate:
Is motivated, organized and a self-starter
Has a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Is able to be proactive in dealing with management to address internal and external issues
Must possess articulate and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
Must have extensive QuickBooks and Excel experience (preferably 5 years)
Must have excellent computer navigation skills
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite programs
Has the ability to prioritize multiple duties and assignments
Is a team player
Must have strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Possess a strong work ethic
Education: At least 2 years of college with accounting
