Req Number 144003Job DescriptionAssists child life staff in providing psycho-social support, developmentally appropriate play and activities, and playroom supervision for patients and families to help foster a positive hospital experience.Job Responsibility
Coordinates playroom activities and playroom orientation for patients and family.
Creates and maintains a welcoming and emotionally and physically safe environment.
Sets-up, organizes and maintains activity areas.
Provides opportunities to play, learn, and interact with others.
Offers support to family members to assist with their adaptation to health-care experiences.
Enables patient/family to make choices and decisions to maximize feelings of control when in the playroom.
Guides volunteers in providing a playroom experience that is developmentally appropriate and safe.

Job Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
1-2 years of Child Life experience, strongly preferred.
