Inspection and Testing: Perform detailed inspections of components, materials, and finished products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify adherence to specifications and tolerances.
Documentation: Review and maintain accurate records of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions. Prepare inspection reports, certificates of compliance, and other quality-related documentation.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards and regulations, including AS9100, ISO9001, and customer-specific requirements.
First Article Inspection (FAI): Perform First Article Inspections according to AS9102 standards, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
Root Cause Analysis: Identify quality issues and work with cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Supplier Quality: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications. Perform incoming inspections and audits of supplier processes when necessary.
Calibration: Ensure all inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained, following company and regulatory standards.
Process Audits: Conduct internal and external process audits to ensure adherence to quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement initiatives.
