Business Analyst II serves as a product analyst with the Product &
Efficiencies Team within the Program Integrity organization. The Program
Integrity division focuses on ensuring accurate financial claims processing,
and reducing admin costs to bring the best value to the health care
program. The Efficiencies and Product Support team focuses on combining
optimized processes with best in class technology to bring the most value to
Program Integrity. Business Analyst
IIProblem solves by translating
business needs into defined processes and application software requirements.
Analyzes business impact of new requirements resulting from new
implementations, regulatory changes, and/or state or internal policy
changes. Builds business cases to
support the process change.Primary duties may
include, but are not limited to: ·
Problem
solver/proactively analyzes business needs to identify solutions and make
recommendations.·
Supports planning and
execution, including risk identification and assists in defining mitigations. ·
Evaluating current
processes and makes recommendations to drive process optimization and identify
opportunities for improvement. ·
Works with IT and
business to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and
testing.·
Supports
Product Owner by creating documentation, user stories, test cases, defines user acceptance criteria and
coordinates UAT activities as needed with end users.·
Acts as liaison for
provider outreach team, translating end user needs into strategic product
enhancements.·
Evaluates
applications against stated requirements to recommend best practices for
development and training opportunities. ·
Creates
business cases from problem definition, cost estimation, value analysis,
project justification and financial analysis through the stage gate process.
Provides status updates to management.Requirements:Requires a BS/BA
degree, 3-5 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of
education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background;
consulting experience preferred.Comfortable
working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving business needs.Strong
analytical skills, high attention to detail, and proven ability to be an
innovative problem solver. Skilled
in PowerPoint and Excel, SQL a plus.Articulate
and able to present ideas in a compelling and thoughtful manner.Strong
communication skills both written and verbal to represent Program Integrity in interdepartmental
meetings. Strong
organizational skills and keen attention to detail.Query
development and data analysis skills strongly desired.Prior
