Description Are you an experienced Accounting Supervisor with substantial exposure in the not-for-profit sector? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team in Westchester County. The successful candidate will be driven by the challenge of streamlining our accounting processes while ensuring financial and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Include: Oversee all general ledger activity and ensure internal practices are efficiently implemented. Manage the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, remittances, and related analysis. Review and analyze the financial statements of the Regions and Units. Advise overseas Superiors and subordinates on all financial matters. Ensure timely and accurate financial report submission for Regions and Units. Oversee the preparation of the annual budget for the Regions and Units. Supervise one accounting staff member, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations. Conduct research, documentation, and reporting on “Special Projects” as directed by Leadership. Review and approve monthly remittances, Members payroll schedule, bank reconciliations, etc. Prepare and review monthly and quarterly analysis reports.Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. 3-4 years of solid accounting experience. Not-for-profit experience preferred. Experience with international locations including an understanding of foreign currency preferred. Excellent analytical, project management, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks. Must be a self-starter with the ability to complete job responsibilities with minimal assistance and the ability to identify when help is needed.
