Performs psychological / behavioral assessments and psychotherapeutic interventions and other procedures of patients. This position is based at the Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY. In this position, your patient population will be students admitted into the Merchant Marine Academy that require various psychological evaluations including return to service and students experiencing school-related stress.Job Responsibility
Guides and directs other staff including Psychologists, provides coordination and/or performs administrative duties.
Performs psychological assessment.
Develops and implements a plan of treatment.
Evaluates care provided for positive patient outcomes.
Analyzes outcome/follow-up data for purposes of performance improvement and research.

Job Qualification
Doctor of Psychology required.
Current License to practice as a Psychologist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
Must have Medical Board Appointment.
3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
