Morton J. Lemkau Moving and Storage based in Syosset, NY is seeking Drivers/Movers to join their professional relocation team. A Driver's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1) Driving straight/box trucks (Non-CDL)
2) Loading/Packing the trucks with furnishings and household items.
3) Working with and overseeing the moving team on any given job.
4) Handling paperwork for the company and customer.
5) Working with the moving team and customers throughout a given job.
6) Local and long distance transportation of household and commercial goods.
7) Ensuring that the trucks are adequately equipped for each job.
8) Making sure that equipment is used in a safe and efficient manner.
9) Protecting and securing furnishings and alike on any given job.
10) Ensuring Best Practices are used at all times.
11) Customer Service.
12) Drivers must have clean and valid NYS Driver's License
Lemkau Moving operates Mondays - Saturdays excluding Holidays.
Hourly Pay with OT (Time and a Half) after 40 Hours.
Paid Holidays
Paid Time Off (PTO) accrued with time.
