Job Description:
As a Carpenter forman at VP Quality Contracting, you will play a crucial role in leading one of our carpentry teams to deliver high-quality construction projects across Long Island. You will oversee all aspects of carpentry work, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of carpenters, providing guidance, support and mentorship
Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
Monitor job progress, manage schedules, and enforce quality control measures
Train and onboard new carpentry team members as needed
Following systems with daily reports and pictures
Requirements:
● Proven experience as a carpenter forman, with at least 10 years of experience in rough framing to finish work and a willingness to work
● Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
● Strong communication skills
● Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
