Position Overview:
As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service. You’ll work closely with both customers and technicians to ensure a smooth and efficient service experience. Your role will be essential in keeping operations running smoothly and making sure that every customer leaves satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and listen to their concerns about vehicle performance and service needs
Advise customers on appropriate service options based on their vehicle's needs
Provide clear, accurate estimates for services and repairs
Coordinate with technicians to ensure work is performed efficiently and correctly
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
Upsell additional services when appropriate and relevant
Manage service orders, paperwork, and customer records
Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
Keep customers informed about promotions, services, and warranty options
Ensure that all vehicles are returned to customers on time and in excellent condition
Qualifications:
Previous experience in automotive service, sales, or customer service (required)
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes
Proficient with computer systems and diagnostic software
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable attitude
Ability to work well in a team environment
Valid driver’s license
