Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Trustpoint.one is pleased to be working with a top litigation firm with an opening for a litigation paralegal with litigation or legal experience to join their team. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Melville, NY.

Job duties may include:

· Reviewing and analyzing documents, including medical records and financial records, tax and employment records, or any other relevant information

· Creating medical record chronologies

· Preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files

· Compiling evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, libraries, and databases

· Coordinating with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts

· Managing court docket calendars

· Generating status reports, logs, and indexes

· Corresponding with clients and opposing law firms

· Conducting legal research and analysis of case issues

· Performing additional duties as required

Qualifications for the Litigation Paralegal role include:

· Qualified candidates will posses excellent interpersonal and organizational skills while demonstrating the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

· Practice and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation

· Minimum of 2 years of Litigation/Casualty experience.

· Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree. Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000/Year and is based on experience.
