Radiant Insulation Systems Inc. has been a cornerstone in the Greater New York area for over half a century, leading the industry with cutting-edge insulation services. We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking Insulation Installer to join our family. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of insulation materials in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings to improve energy efficiency, reduce noise, and ensure compliance with building codes. The ideal candidate has construction experience, attention to detail, and is comfortable working in tight or elevated spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure and cut insulation to fit specific spaces, using hand or power tools.
Install insulation materials (e.g., fiberglass batts, spray foam, blown-in cellulose) in walls, floors, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces.
Remove old or damaged insulation as needed.
Seal air leaks using caulking, foam, or other appropriate materials.
Read and interpret work orders.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior experience in insulation or general construction is a plus but not required (on-the-job training may be provided).
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Comfortable working in confined spaces, attics, and on ladders or scaffolding.
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, crawling, and climbing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
