Baldwin Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinary technician to join our team. Full time preferred, but part time considered. Must be experienced and license preferred. We are a small, privately owned, 2 doctor, AAHA certified , state of the art practice in Southwest Nassau County. Applicant must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills, be capable of multitasking and love the field of pet health care. We are looking for people who want to make a difference in pets lives.
Responsibilities will include: assisting DVM in appointments, client education, patient monitoring, blood collection, catheter placement, dentistry, Xrays, surgical assistance, intubation and anesthesia, maintaining medical records, dispensing medications, walking pets, laundry maintenance.
