Patient Tech Associate - Southhampton
Location: Southampton, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Shifts between 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Must be flexible for 1–2 late evenings per week and one weekend per month
Pay Rate: $18–$21/hour (commensurate with experience)
We are actively recruiting on behalf of a premier orthopedic practice, known for delivering exceptional patient care. This is a full-time, patient-facing role—ideal for individuals with clinical support experience who thrive in fast-paced medical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and professional experience
Obtain and record vital signs and patient histories; update electronic medical records (EMRs) prior to provider evaluations
Prepare and sanitize exam rooms before and after patient visits; stock and organize medical supplies
Assist physicians during clinical procedures and patient care tasks
Manage patient charts, requisitions, and follow-up documentation
Support front-desk operations such as scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and updating insurance information
Dispense and fit durable medical equipment (DME) under provider direction
Adhere strictly to infection control standards and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical, medical office, or healthcare support role
CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with EMRs preferred (Athena, EPIC, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
