Position: Host/Hostess
We are seeking a friendly and professional host/hostess to join our team at our upscale Greek restaurant. The host/hotess will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and providing excellent customer service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
Manage reservations and ensure that tables are prepared for guests
Provide accurate wait times and manage the waiting list
Escort guests to their tables
Take guest information and phone reservations
Assist with answering phones and taking to-go orders
Monitor the dining room to ensure that tables are being turned over efficiently
Answer guest questions and provide recommendations as needed
Ensure that the dining room is clean and well-maintained
Requirements:
Prior experience as a hostess in a high-end restaurant preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
