Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and energetic Barbacks to join our team in a fast-paced cocktail bar. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly.
Duties
Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
Handle cash transactions accurately when necessary, ensuring proper cash register operations.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A passion for learning about bartending and beverage service is highly desirable.
Shifts start at 2pm and end as late as 2am on weekdays or 4am on weekends.
This is a tipped position receiving shift pay and 20% of all bartender tip pool.
