Seeking a highly qualified Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and timely proposals, estimates and bids for various projects.
Bid preparation, download drawings , organize files, send out invitation to bid, receive, organize, and analyze bids from subcontractors.
Perform plan take-offs, measure, count mechanical system components to ensure accurate project price estimation.
Review project plans and specifications to include all necessary job scope details in project pricing.
Perform site visits as required for retrieval of field information and prepare reports of field statuses.
Working knowledge of HVAC drawings/designs of piping systems, ductwork, HVAC, process, layouts, etc
Experience Requirements:
Manage multiple deadlines concurrently using effective prioritization strategies.
Proficient to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to preserve confidential information and successfully avoid conflicts of interest.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interpret complex technical documents and project drawings.
Computer Skill Requirements: Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, Outlook
HVAC Experience:
Mechanical aptitude, ability to understand mechanical ductwork systems and drawings
