Pat’s Service Center in Sayville, NY is Looking to recruit and experienced service manager to run our day to day repair operations. This position would require a technical person that has years of diversified experience dealing with customers, identifying the vehicles problems, estimating the project and selling the job to the owner. Once the job is sold you would be required to delegate the job to a technician and monitor the quality and time the project takes to complete to assure the job is done right the first time.
We are looking for a performance minded person That can set and obtain daily, weekly and monthly goals to keep the shop successful, organize daily progress reports on bigger projects, keeping track of time and materials during the course of each project. Then create a detailed professional invoice explaining all the work that was done.
This position would require the following:
Clean New York State drivers license.
must be well-versed using a computer.
excellent verbal and writing skills/ bilingual is a plus.
must be experienced working in the auto and truck repair industry.
must be legal to work in the US. All pay is on the books.
must have no criminal background and we don’t hire drug addicts or drunks.
must be able to identify problems, sell the repair and keep the technicians busy to obtain sales goals.
must be very detailed and articulate with each repair project, keeping track of all billable time and materials.
this is a full-time year-round position Monday through Friday 8 to 5 and in the busy season Saturday 8-1.
Employee package will be based on your prior experience, Included is salary + commission + paid vacation +
Paid Holidays, and some paid sick & personal days.
