AH STAFF ACCOUNTANT – ACCOUNTS PAYABLE - FULL TIME

Who You Are:
We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to assist with accounting needs for each of our entities. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Post daily sales journal entries and send out morning email with prior days sales numbers for each property – Avero, Toast, Excel, Quickbooks
Post invoices into our accounting system across multiple entities – Dining Alliance, Quickbooks & Transaction Pro
Reconcile daily sales reports and enter into QuickBooks
Reconcile tip sheets on weekly basis
Record weekly payroll and journal entries for each entity – Paychex
Work closely with operators to resolve ad hoc issues, such as COD or credit holds
Reconcile vendor statements during the month-end process to ensure that all known invoices have been expensed properly
Record/reconcile Amex credit card transactions for each entity
Prepare and file Sales tax returns on monthly /quarterly basis for each entity
Prepare year end 1099s Forms for each entity
Perform several balance sheet reconciliations (gift card, events, etc)
Participate in helping create the budgets & forecasting
Create and maintain vendor relationships
Assist with and audit inventory counts
Assist with ad hoc reports as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, Accounting or Finance degree preferred
Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable experience required, restaurant industry
Well organized, detail-oriented
Passion for excellence and attention to detail
Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel knowledge a must
Compensation:
Salary $80k+ and is commensurate with experience. Progressive bonus structure. Housing provided. While we take the time to review all applications, only those suitable for interview will be contacted.
