Trucking company seeks qualified/reliable person for accounting position.
MUST HAVE-Bachelor's degree in accounting, minimum 5 years experience, working knowledge of GAAP. Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel and Word) experience in QuickBooks and AccountMate Software a plus (we will train on software if necessary)
-G/L account analysis and reconciliation of balances
-Monthly bank reconciliation for multiple banks
-Sales tax and truck expense analysis
-Daily monitoring of cash flow
-Filing of monthly/quarterly Sales tax
-Payroll and quarterly taxes
-Month end closing
-Internal Financial statement preparation
-Assist outside accountants as needed
-Handling of Workers Comp audits
-Create ad hoc reports as needed by management
