Technical support for Philips’ Xper Information Management system
Troubleshoot Windows operating system issues quickly and effectively
Troubleshoot hardware issues quickly and effectively
Troubleshoot TCP/IP and general networking problems with customers
Able to work structurally and according to published procedures and work instructions
Document all actions taken during problem resolution in appropriate internal tracking systems
Requires minimal supervision, able to determine methods and procedures for new assignments without assistance
Ensures warm "hand-off" of hot issues and customer escalations
Timely escalation of customer issues for evaluation and action by higher level support.
Takes independent actions and calculated risks in solving customer issues
Looks for ways to improve and promote quality
You're the right fit if:
Associate’s degree or 3 years in related IT field required
Bachelor’s degree preferred in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, IT, or other relevant discipline
3+ years of related experience (i.e. technical support)
Good working knowledge of SQL and database tools
Good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking skills
Good working knowledge of HL7
Ability to ascertain urgency of support request
Capability to excel in a high performing team environment
Effective and Professional customer communications both verbal and written
Knowledge of assigned products through ongoing training and development
Problem solving skills and resourcefulness
Experience servicing and / or supporting Medical or IT equipment preferred
Shift work may be required
Scheduled on-call availability required via phone or pager
Varying travel required as directed by management (10%)
Able to diagnose problems, apply effective solutions and determine follow up actions with minimum direction.
Able to troubleshoot Windows Server / Workstation issues both Hardware and Software.
VMware Knowledge preferred

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
